Baumanometer® – Nothing Less but the best.

Today’s Baumanometer® instruments still function on the immutable law of gravity and are the result of continuous development over the years. Cases and housings are made of extruded or precision diecast metal. Mylar® Clad calibrated tubes are fully recessed in metal scales. These tubes have a wide bore to prevent separation of the mercury column and are held securely in place by spring tension. A stainless steel baffle in the mercury reservoir keeps the mercury in place during handling and transport.

These are just a few of the hundreds of improvements made since the first Baumanometer® blood pressure instrument was developed. Many of the improvements are hidden from view but all of them contribute to the unsurpassed accuracy and dependability of the instrument.
