Easyflow is soft and flexible.
The Easyflow elastomeric pump system is made with innovative materials that guarantees flow consistency and superior accuracy (+/- 10%).
The complete system is UV-Ray resistant, DEHP Free, Latex Free.
The sturdy soft outer shell has clear visible markings:
- colour coding to clearly identify which product is selected
- the flow rate
- nominal, minimum and maximum filling volume
- the barcode, UDI or datamatrix
- the manufacturing lot and the expiry date
- a graduated scale to follow the infusion progress
- all symbols required by current regulations
A closed system device.
Easyflow is a closed system device.
Easyflow is equipped with a one-way needleless filling port which means safety for the user, hospital workers and patients.
This system also prevents any loss of medication during the filling phase.
The first filter on the filling line prevents any possibility of small splinters of glass or any foreign particle entering entering the system.
Thanks to the softness of the materials it is the easiest pump to load, requiring light force.
The integrity of the connections and the tightness of the valves are tested one by one.

Automatic Priming.
Easyflow is equipped with a solution filtering system that allows the automatic priming of the infusion line to guarantee the expulsion of any air bubbles.
- In-line 5μm filter for particles and antibacterial filtration, different porosities availables on request
- 0.02 μm filter for air expulsion.
- 0.2 μm distal end filter for automatic priming.
- In just a few minutes the system is ready to use in a completely safe way.
- The luer lock closing cap is equipped with an hydrophobic membrane which allows automatic priming of the system.
- Once pump is filled, the air will be expelled directly from distal end cap and the therapy will be immediately available for use.
Plastic flow restrictor, no risks from glass.
Plastic flow restrictor assures the flow precision and does not present the dangerous risk of breakage as with the glass used in other brands.
Due to its conforming properties, plastic guarantees a much more accurate flow and is less affected by external agents such as temperature and internal agents such as the viscosity of the drug.
Easyflow flow performance is constant and accurate (+/- 10%).
- Nominal flow rate is obtained at specific temperatures: flow restrictor = 32 °C / 89 °F – pump body = 24°C / 76° F
- Nominal flow values refers to a saline solution (NaCl 0.9%).
- The flow rate may increase or decrease depending on the viscosity of the solution to be infused.
- DFO setting for Deferoxamine (DFO) infusion (Iron chelation, Thalassemia): Nominal flow refers to a 3.0 grams +/- 10% DFO solution.
Optional hard case.
Easyflow is supplied with a practical patient portability system, a data label and an additional cap.
A hard case for extra safety is also available as an option.
